Statistical Digest
The creation and publication of the Post Secondary and Tertiary Education Statistical Digest 2010 is an important step in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education’s mandate of initiating research driven policies for the sector. The fields of data collected from the Tertiary Level Institutions (TLIs) and reported within the Post Secondary and Tertiary Education Statistical Digest include, student demographics, foreign student enrolment, and faculty information. The Statistical Digest attempts to capture all the key elements, GATE approved and non-GATE approved programmes and schools, of the embryonic post secondary and tertiary education sector of Trinidad and Tobago. To this end, all eighty-one (81) registered institutions with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago were approached by the research team of the Ministry, and sensitization and feedback workshops were enacted.
